Why does your spine need a Chiropractic Adjustment?
A person’s spine and vertebrae can become unaligned either through daily activity or a traumatic accident or event.
What is a Chiropractic Adjustment?
Chiropractic manipulations, often referred to as adjustments, involve the minor movement or “adjustment” of the vertebrae of the spine. With proper alignment, the nerves and systems of the body can operate at peak performance.
How is a Chiropractic Adjustment done?
A Chiropractic Adjustment is achieved when the Chiropractor applies his/her hands or special instruments to create pressure to move the vertebrae back into place.
Does a Chiropractic Adjustment hurt?
The movement is quick and often has little or no discomfort associated with it. The cracking or popping sound that patients hear when an adjustment or manipulation is made can be a little frightening, but there’s no need to worry, it’s simply the gases like oxygen and nitrogen being released from the joint.
