TMJ (Jaw Pain)

Temporomandibular Joint dysfunction (TMJ) effects a great number of people everyday. The symptoms include pain on either side of the face, in front of the ears, or clicking in the joints of the jaw. This can be extremely unpleasant because the jaw is used constantly to talk and eat. If there is more muscle tension on one side of the face, this often causes pain and stiffness in and around the joints.

First we must find the specific muscles that are causing the imbalance between the sides of the jaw. Once we find the muscles we perform a deep tissue massage which will allow the jaw to move freely, pain free.
